At Christ de Saclay Station, one of three new metro stations by Benthem Crouwel Architects and Atelier Novembre for Ligne 18 in the Grand Paris network, construction is steadily progressing- and a the interior now taking shape.
The station is enriched with a striking artwork by Ulla von Brandenburg. Her ‘Moving Chromatic Landscape’ introduces a dynamic interplay of colour, abstraction, and perspective. Evoking a landscape in the past and in motion, the artwork incorporates elements of abstraction and perspective, while creating a scrolling effect, similar to that of a landscape seen from a train.
This collaboration is part of the Tandems collection, pairing artists and architects across the Grand Paris Express, and is supported by the Société des Grands Projets. Together, we are shaping a station that is not only a point of transit, but a place of experience.
