March – a month full of inspiration and education

Last month, we kicked off the Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen at the TU Eindhoven, where Joost Vos delivered an inspiring lecture on innovative and circular solutions in architecture. Using two standout examples - the iconic, pioneering facade of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam (with its seamless, lightweight reinforced-fiber "Bathtub" extension) and the fully circular, energy-neutral, and demountable design of LAB42 at the University of Amsterdam - he demonstrated how architecture can effectively address complex challenges in a sustainable and surprising way.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming 35 students form the University of Hong Kong for the third year in a row! Our session centered on our extensive transit projects, highlighting how major stations are thoughtfully integrated into the existing urban fabric. By blending seamless connectivity, intuitive wayfinding, and high-quality public spaces, these designs create effortless and enjoyable passenger experiences while strengthening the surrounding city environment.
