Still under construction, yet already iconic - Ligne 18, Paris

Still under construction, yet already iconic. The roof of the new Gare Université Paris-Saclay in Orsay are already becoming a defining feature in the landscape. This station is one of three designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects and Atelier Novembre for Ligne 18 of the Grand Paris Express.

All three stations follow a shared architectural concept, featuring a striking roof structure that folds over the viaduct like an envelope. This distinctive design gives the stations a strong visual identity and a bold, recognizable presence.
